Charleston Chemistry tutor Walker B. has been a chemist ever since his high school days. After graduating from Wofford College with a BS in Chemistry, he returned to his Alma Mater in Charleston, SC to start his teaching career. He has taught a variety of science courses over the last 14 years, but his love has always been and will always be chemistry.

Education has been an important part of Walker’s life, not just as a youth but also as an adult. He recently completed graduate work at The Citadel, earning an M.Ed. in Interdisciplinary STEM Education, enhancing his skills as a teacher and enabling him to learn newer techniques and approaches to educating today’s youth.

In his free time, Walker enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, cooking, running, and playing board games with friends and family. Walker wants each of his students to be the best that they can be and will help them in whatever way that he can.
