Tyler graduated from Boston College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He soon began working in a supportive psychotherapeutic role with children, families, and adolescents at a community mental health center based in the Boston area. He also worked in neuropsychological research examining risk factors for disorders with psychotic features.

After deciding to pursue medical school, Tyler moved on to the Bryn Mawr College Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program in the summer of 2017. He successfully completed every traditional premedical curriculum requirement including labs in twelve months. After finishing, Tyler took the MCAT 2015 and received a balanced 521 total score.

While in the middle of the medical school application process, he is now working as a research assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital. Tyler has experience teaching and mentoring people as young as four in a wide variety of subjects such as chemistry, swimming, and coping skills. He sees helping others problem solve as a rewarding opportunity to learn and grow.
