MCAT and SAT tutor Sofia S. graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Human & Organizational Development (on the Health & Human Services track). She is in the midst of applying to medical school, after scoring in the 100^th percentile (524) on the MCAT last summer.

Sofia has been passionate about teaching since working as an assistant Sunday School teacher at her church in high school. Since then, she’s worked with students in a variety of capacities, from literacy tutoring to leading journalism classes. She is a firm believer that the right mindset can help break barriers to a top score.

In her spare time, Sofia is kept busy volunteering at a free medical clinic and the local children’s hospital. She enjoys reading, running, and cooking
