Natalie graduated from Brown University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science with honors in Chemistry, and completed a Masters in Biotechnology in 2018, also at Brown. During her academic career, she spent significant time in various teaching roles. She served as a teaching assistant and head teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry, and a group and individual tutor for Biochemistry. Natalie is passionate about helping students find learning strategies that work for them, and she strives to help others gain confidence in their academic capabilities.
Beyond teaching, Natalie has conducted research in molecular biology, synthetic chemistry, and computational biochemistry. She has studied the genetics of ALS, developed novel synthetic strategies that led to two publications, and used technology to analyze protein data. Natalie will be starting medical school in the Summer of 2019 and is excited to draw upon her teaching background to become a patient-centered physician.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys staying active outside, baking, exploring restaurants, traveling, and learning about religions and architecture.
