Matt‘s approach to tutoring is adapted to each individual student, gauging their strengths and weaknesses, taking the time to understand their goals, and helping craft a plan to achieve them. 

He formerly served as a writing tutor for the College of Charleston (CofC) philosophy department, worked as a teaching assistant, taught a first year seminar, and engaged in multiple independent research products. He has published his work in CofC’s undergraduate journal, as well as presented his research to the South Carolina Society of Philosophy. He is currently applying to graduate programs in Philosophy.

Matt spends his free time fighting with the big questions of existence, or hiding from them on Netflix. He is the proud dad of three beautiful tabby cats.
