Julien H. graduated cum laude from Columbia University, where he majored in English Literature and American Studies.  He received a 170 on the LSAT and specializes in LSAT preparation. He is also available to tutor in any English related subjects, mathematics (including Calculus), college and graduate school admissions, and SAT preparation.

Though test preparation can often be a stressful and impersonal process, Julien aims to create a personalized course of study for each student based on his or her unique needs and goals. He aims to not only teach students immediate comprehension but also how to approach learning outside tutoring sessions so that they can continue to improve and grow well beyond the hours of teaching.

Prior to Tutor the People, Julien served as Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Review, the nation’s oldest university literary magazine, and wrote for a wide variety of publications including for TIME Inc. and the Columbia School of Social Work online journal.
