Dr. Edwards is a graduate of Duke University and the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He is currently completing fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He previously completed a residency and is double-boarded in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He is the co-author of several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. His research interests include computational genetics and the molecular biology of congenital cardiac valvular disorders.

Dr. Edwards scored a 42 on the previous format of the MCAT, as well as a 526 and 528 on newer administrations of the current test format, as well as 271 on the USMLE Step 1, and 268 on the USMLE Step 2 CK (both 99th percentile scores). Because of his success with the MCAT and board examinations, Dr. Edwards was drawn to helping others prepare for the same tests. He has been extensively involved in teaching, tutoring, content development roles, and question writing for the MCAT, USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK and Step 3 exams.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Edwards enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his two dogs.
