Jawad started tutoring SAT and AP courses while he was an undergraduate at the University of California, and has more than a decade of experience tutoring college and graduate-school entrance tests such as LSAT, GMAT, GRE, and MCAT.

With a graduate degree in Comparative Literature, he has written hundreds of questions for SAT and AP diagnostic tests, and helped students improve their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. In addition to his test prep tutoring and assessment experience, he is also a lecturer in the Department of Liberal Studies at California State University, Fullerton, and has taught at numerous other Southern California colleges. As a college instructor and test prep coach, he possesses a unique perspective on both the assessment outcomes of standardized tests and the teaching strategies that are best suited to excel on the tests.
