Jake attended the University of Chicago where he graduated with Honors in 2018. Jake then began working as a paralegal Sidley Austin in Chicago. While there he began studying for the LSAT. When he took his initial diagnostic test, Jake did not score well but was determined to do well.
He studied hard and developed study plans for himself, modifying them as he learned what worked best for his learning preferences. He ultimately scored a 174–about 30 points higher than his score on the diagnostic. Jake believes this experience is what makes him such an effective tutor. Like many of his students, the concepts and logic of the LSAT did not come naturally to him. Jake knows what it requires to take the unintuitive logic of the LSAT and make it second nature for his students. He is excited to work with students and help see them progress and succeed on the LSAT.
