Dominique is currently studying as a first-year medical student at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Outside of academics, she is a co-founder of Downstate’s chapter of Physicians for Human Rights as well as a RISE (HIV/SexEd) counselor at the Brooklyn Free Clinic, the student-run clinic through Downstate.
Dominique graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Neuroscience as well as Minors in Chemistry and Women’s Studies. Before starting medical school, she worked as an ophthalmic technician/scribe in Boston. In her spare time, Dominique puts artificial tears in her eyes, goes to art museums, and attends AMC’S $5 Tuesdays for the latest flicks.
