Philadelphia CPA FAR tutor Dionne L. received an MBA at Drexel University Lebow School of Business where she focused on Finance and Business Analytics. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Pennsylvania specializing in non-profit accounting. 

Dionne has spent the last four years working with entrepreneurs, partnerships, small-to-medium-sized corporations providing accounting and tax services. Before becoming 100% self-employed, Dionne worked as an Auditor and Outsourced Accountant with CLA, a top 10 U.S. accountancy firm. In addition, she founded Mantra Consulting, a boutique firm based in Pennsylvania offering Accounting and Advisory Services.

The process of taking and passing the CPA FAR exam was not easy for Dionne. When she experienced a career change from finance to accounting she was well into her career and had to learn to study all over again. She balanced studying with her full-time job and, in doing so, developed a super organized, personalized method of studying and retaining pertinent information for test-taking. Her methods helped her pass BEC and FAR within a two-month span and with a score of 80 or above on both sections.

In her spare time, Dionne enjoys traveling, teaching young people about the accounting profession, and spending time with her friends and family.
