Courtney will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May 2019 with an honors Biology degree. She took the MCAT in August 2018 after 4 months of studying and is in the process of applying to medical school.

At Vanderbilt Courtney was a 4-year member of the Cheerleading team and spent three years research breast cancer and melanoma at the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center. She began formally tutoring last January but she has been serving as a mentor, camp counselor, and informal tutor for several years. She enjoys empowering her students and helping them overcome difficulties to achieve her goals.

In her free time Courtney enjoys running, hiking, baking, and watching Planet Earth.
