Amanda is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and has worked in the field for 22 years.
She currently is a Special Investigator for the Department of Children and Families as well as adjunct faculty at Fitchburg State University. Amanda has been a community trainer for mandated reporters for 15 years. She also enjoys teaching and training social workers and student interns new to the field. Amanda’s interests are in child welfare, forensic social work, trauma, and addiction as well as young adult mental health. She also spends time volunteering to on boards to support local non-profit agencies such as Habitat for Humanity and Healthy Families.
When not involved in social work practice, Amanda enjoys camping and being a hockey mom.
