Abbi K.

Education: Yeshiva University, B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science

Lives in Chicago, IL, USA

Abbi graduated from Yeshiva University in 2016 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. He spent two years at the investment bank Credit Suisse building models and speaking to clients about the global energy markets. After completing the two-year analyst program, he left New York in mid-2018 to move back to Chicago and join his family business investing in health care and real estate assets.

Abbi also advises a local charity in Chicago that operates with a $20m budget and provides food assistance, job placement, financial assistance, medical assistance, and a wide range of other services. In particular, Abbi helps the charity manage their endowment, ensuring that funds are invested appropriately.

Realizing that he would need a more extensive management background to help the family business expand and thrive in the 21st century, Abbi took the GMAT and scored a 770. He’s now preparing to apply to business school in the Fall of 2019.

In his free time, Abbi chases around his 2-year-old son and watches the Office reruns.
