Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine (TTUHSC SOM) is the best school for medical studies in El Paso. TTUHSC SOM places great value on the fundamental principles of primary care and trains its students to integrate their knowledge of the sciences with their clinical skills in order to perform comprehensive care. This school offers both a traditional four-year program and an accelerated three-year program, and offers the opportunity for dual degrees. Amongst the dual degree options are M.D./J.D., M.D./PhD, and M.D./MBA.

TTUHSC Paul L. Foster School of Medicine PLFSOM requires all students to learn medical Spanish language skills; the PLFSOM is the only medical school in the U.S. with this requirement.

Each of the 4 section scores sum up to the total score. The MCAT median score is 500, and the total MCAT score ranges from 472-528.
