Content on MCAT CARS section will be similar to verbal reasoning types of questions, testing your foundations of comprehension through the ability to evaluate, understand and critically analyze what you read. This section draws upon reading material from a range of disciplines, from humanities (50%) to the social sciences (50%). Students will be expected to understand advanced level vocabulary and writing skills in order to make sense of the passage as a whole using reasoning within the text, while paying attention to the writer’s goals and intentions through the language used to understand the reasoning beyond the text.
