There are 12 questions in the Integrated Reasoning section on the GMAT. The GMAT section lasts 30 minutes and the question types consist of multi-source reasoning, graphics interpretation, two-part analysis and table analysis. Many students are unaware that this portion has a completely separate score which does not affect your total GMAT score of 200-800. IR scores range from 1-8.
Since this portion of the exam is relatively new, admissions boards do not place much emphasis on it.
