New to GMAT prep? Here’s some information about the GMAT:
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test taken online by students planning on applying to most business school and MBA programs. The student will have 3.5 hours to take four sections. Click on each section to learn more:
This section contains a mixture of 31 Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving questions. (Data Sufficiency, Problem Solving). You will have 65 minutes to answer questions using algebra, geometry, and arithmetic.
This section contains a mixture of 36 Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction questions. You will have 65 minutes to interpret passages and complete this section.
This section contains a mixture of 12 Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphics Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, and Table Analysis questions. You will have 30 minutes to finish this section, but your IR score will be kept separate from your overall GMAT score.
This section contains 1 topic that you will be asked to analyze and formulate a critique of. You will have 30 minutes to write your essay.

When studying 1-on-1 with a private GMAT tutor, the pair creates a flexible and fluid study plan that focuses on the student’s strengths to supplement their areas of improvement. Depending on the student’s schedule, the tutor can meet as often as daily, either online or in-person at the student’s location of choice. The tutors present their proven methods and help you create the best strategy that works for your needs. In addition, the pair studies the body of the test- from the backbone of the language to the multiple-choice, reasoning, and elimination. There are many factors that go into test-taking, and we take a wholesome approach to help you achieve your goals.
